DALI (Singapore) – collision with bridge – update 2 April 2024
Further to our initial report in relation to the above captioned incident it has been reported that the Owners and Operators of the DALI, have filed a petition in the Federal Court of Maryland to limit their liability for claims arising from the allision with the Francis Scott Key Bridge to US$43.7m, being the estimated value of the DALI after Salvage and repair costs.

New Casualty – DALI (Singapore) – Allision with bridge 27 March 2024
We have learned of an incident involving the vessel DALI, a Singapore flag, 2015 built, 95,128 gt, fully cellular containership, which struck Francis Scott Key Bridge in Baltimore, USA, in the early hours of 26th March 2024. The Key Bridge, as it is known, is the world’s third-longest continuous truss bridge.

W.E. Cox Claims Group are delighted to advise that with effect from the 24th October 2016, our Head Office will relocate to the heart of the insurance market in the City of London.

Since 1977 our Head Office has been situated at Cox House in Gravesend, Kent, with an office in the City of London, presently at 6 Lloyd's Avenue. In order to enhance the specialist services that W.E. Cox Claims Group provide to our clients around the world, we have decided to consolidate these two offices. Working from one purpose built modern office in the centre of the insurance market in the City of London, we will have a closer association with our London based clients and Lloyd's of London, as well as offering easy access to clients from around the world.

Whilst many memories and much history has been made at Cox House, the “home” of W.E. Cox Claims Group, the company is delighted to be relocating to be at the centre of the world’s largest insurance market.

With our new Head Office being located at 140 Fenchurch Street, claims, recoveries, casualty and survey services will be available to the Industries’ leading companies, on an independent scale in excess of what is available currently. The location ensures that local, national and International clients have exclusive availability within the City of London.

We would kindly ask all clients and partners to note that with effect from the 24th October 2016, the offices currently located at 6 Lloyd's Avenue and Cox House, will relocate to the following address:
